KoRn doing theme for new Silent Hill game

Silent Hill: Downpour will be hitting store shelves in October. The foggy town will once again be visited, but this time in full 3D. We saw the 3D feature hinted at last night on the Silent Hill Facebook page, but the fact sheet for the game confirms the feature. It does not say whether the 3D feature is limited to solely the PS3 or if it is available on both consoles.

An interesting bit of info has also been announced regarding the game’s theme song. While Dan Licht will be scoring the entire game, rock group Korn will be doing the main theme. We weren’t expecting that, but we’ll have to give it a listen before we judge it.
